'The next President of Russia must be a man who would unite Russia'

This was said by the head of Chuvash Republic President's staff Pyotr Krasnov. He believes that neither Lebed, nor Yavlinskii could do this. The first is a serviceman, the second is a theoretician. Zyuganov cannot do this either, because there will be an awful stratification of society. In Pyotr Krasnov's opinion, Yurii Luzhkov is the closest to this unification by his potential opportunities. He is an economist, and he has done a lot to provide a stable survival of the multimillion city. And above all, Yurii Luzhkov is a European level politician.

Unique medical suture material is made in Cheboxary

All these articles are produced serially, under the license of the Ministry of public health of Russia, and have quality certificates, patents, inventor's certificates and know-how, too. Patent investigations have been carried out in the USA, Japan, FRG, and France from 1970 to 1997. These products have no analogues in the world.

General manager of the 'Khimprom' Jsc Viktor Kisin became a member of the 'Otechestvo (Fatherland)' public movement political council

This took place at the constituent assembly held on December 19, 1998 in Moscow. Viktor Kisin is this movement's coordinator in the Chuvash Republic.

The 'Respublikanskii registrator (Republican registrar)' Jsc began operations in shareholders' lists of enterprises on the territory of Chuvash Republic

Nowadays the company is busy with the lists of shareholders of the 'TsUM' (Cheboxary). 'Electropribor' (Alatyr), and 'Spetsstroi' (Cheboxary) joint-stock companies. The establishment of the 'Respublikanskii registrator' Jsc was approved by the decision of the Government of the Chuvash Republic of March 12, 1998. The share of the state in its authorized capital is 13.3%.

The main aim of the visit is acquaintance with the winner of the competition 'Teacher of the year' Alexandr Semyonov, who works as a drawing teacher in Shemursha district.

On December 17, 1998 the board of directors of the 'Cheboxary electric apparatus factory' Jsc decided to annul unilaterally the agreement with the Cheboxary fund centre - a filial of 'Moscow fund centre' Plc.

'Match of ten strongest federations' - All-Russian swimming competitions opened in Cheboxary

President of the Chuvash Republic Nikolai Fyodorov took part in the opening ceremony of All-Russian swimming competitions. Many famous sportsmen - world and USSR champions - took part in this ceremony. 80 sport masters of Russia and 23 international sport masters will show their skill in the tournament of ten best federations held during four days.

Information about the exhibition 'Agroindustrial complex of Russia' (prepared by the Ministry of agriculture of Chuvash Republic)

The exhibition was held in Moscow on December 16-21. 59 regions of Russia displayed their exhibits there. Our republic was represented by 15 enterprises of the Ministry of agriculture, the 'Cheboxary units works' Jsc and the Russian-American 'Khimprom-Dupont' joint venture from Novocheboxarsk. The exhibition had the motto "Buy Russian-made commodities'.

Some of our exhibits won gold and silver medals.
